Meet Suzi!
Hi! I’m Suzi, one of the metalsmiths at Milk & Honey. I’m an artist and craftswoman from Maryland. I have loved making things since a little kid when I had my first toolbox at 5. The love of handicraft took me across the country and across the world. Working and living in Northern India for years was one of my favorite chapters. Now I’m enjoying settling down in Pennsylvania with my boyfriend and rescue dog.
What's your favorite color?
Favorite color right now is a dark blue green like a deep tourmaline. There’s a paint color named cascades I’ve used all around my house.
How do you like your coffee?
Black. Iced or hot, I can’t get enough! If I want a treat I’ll go with a Vietnamese iced coffee or dalgona coffee. It’s supercharged!
What's your favorite candy/dessert?
Matcha ice cream! There’s a place in Maryland called Kyoto matcha that has the best swirl matcha ice cream.
What's your least favorite job/responsibility at Milk + Honey?
Trying to remember to send Maria my hours. Sorry Maria! Haha I’ll even set alerts to remind myself and then I forget in the moment. I’ll get better about it!
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Making things, painting, testing new recipes, spoiling my senior rescue dog, being out in nature with my boyfriend and playing with my twin nephews.
What is your favorite piece(s) in the Milk + Honey collection?
I love the simple classics! Classic Round Ring, Petite Pearl Choker or Oval Dangly Earrings.
What's your favorite design of all of the pieces we've made?
The galaxy sparkly ones or creative unique ones like the hair tree. I get lost in the teeny tiny details. The team does such a wonderful job making little worlds inside each piece.
What's your favorite product in our Amazon storefront?
Any of the self care products like the bath bombs! Being a metalsmith since college hurts my back so I love anything to soothe achy muscles.
