Kids Gift Guide 2022
We tried something new and made a Men’s Gift Guide and a “For Her” Gift Guide this year and you guys really seemed to enjoy it! So now we’re helping you complete your Christmas gift shopping with a Kids Gift Guide! As mom’ ourselves, we know that sometimes you run out of ideas and you don’t want to bring a bunch of toys into your house! So we’re here to help with some ideas that are a little “outside the box” and aren’t ALL toys (although there are still some on the list, because it is Christmas, after all)!

5. Family Membership - prices vary - Give the gift that keeps giving all year long! Many of your local state parks, aquariums or zoos offer family memberships so you can go as often as you want! Most of the time, going just twice is enough for you get your money’s worth - and your kids will have lasting memories!!!
6. STEM Wooden Construction Science Kits - $19 - This STEM kits comes with all of the parts you need to build a mini ferris wheel, carousel model, fiber optic lamp and star night light.
7. Board Games - prices vary - Our family really enjoys a good “Family Game Night”, so new board games are always something that my kids look forward to! We usually gift these as group gifts, but you could gift them individually as well. There are lots of great classics like Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders, Trouble, and Connect 4. Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza is a great new game kids will really love! If you have older kids, they may love Labyrinth or Ticket To Ride (or the junior edition for those “in between” ages). 8. Movie Theater Gift Cards - prices vary - There is almost always at least one movie my kids want to go see in theathers each year and these are a great way to plan ahead to take them! Be sure to purchase a gift card large enough to purchase popcorn and snacks at the concession stands! (Or send the link to grandma so she can add to the fun!) Did you know Amazon has movie theather gift cards to most major movie theathers in the US? Movie theathers not your thing? Give a RedBox Movie Night Care Package and enjoy a movie in the comfort of your own home!

10. LEGO Classic Creative Bricks - $25 - What kid doesn’t love LEGOS?! For the younger kids, you can opt for the LEGO DUPLOs!
11. LeapFrog LeapPad Academy Kids’ Learning Tablet - $102 - I was hesitant to purchase tablets for my kids, but I found these and my kids loved them! They are a great tablet for ages 3-9 and you have 100% control over what is on there and how long they play!
12. Gabby's Dollhouse, Purrfect Dollhouse - $82 - My daughter’s newest favorite show is Gabby’s Dollhouse, so when I came across this, I knew it was a must have for this year! There are also many accessories you can purchase to go with it if you’re interested, althought it isn’t necessary. Like this Bakey with Cakey Kitchen, or this Primp and Pamper Bathroom with Mercat. If you aren’t able to find them all on Amazon, try WalMart! (UPDATE: My mom purchased this gift for my daugther last year and she plays with it DAILY!!! It’s worth every penny!)
13. Milk+Honey Stacker Bands - $24 - The perfect rings to pair with an existing ring or buy several and mix and match styles! With so many options, you can change your style every day!
14. Experience Gifts - prices vary - There are so many things you can list under this category! Horse back riding lessons, paint night, broadway or local show, photography/guitar/voice/dance lessons, a camping adventure, or girls night out (mani/pedi and dinner). You can purchase a smaller item (like this nail polish for a mani/pedi girls night or this kids lantern for a camping adventure) to wrap and include a little note about what the gift actually is!
15. HearthSong Platform Swing - $129 - Alaina said her kids LOVE this swing, but she highly recomends ANYTHING from HearthSong - especially their outdoors items!
16. 100 Pack Nerf Darts - $15 - Anyone who has kids with an arsenal of Nerf guns knows how quickly kids can go through these. Nerf Darts are ALWAYS on the Christmas and Birthday lists every year!!!

19. Books - prices vary - Books are something I don’t think we can ever have too many of! From "The Very Hungry Caterpillar Baby Teething Crinkle Book”, “Tickle Time”, “The Last Kids on Earth”, "Charlotte's Web", "The Rainbow Fish", or the entire series of "Chronicles of Narinia", we have a large varitey of books on our “Kids Books” list for all ages!
20. Fire HD 10 Kids Pro tablet - $119 (currently on sale!) - While I love the LeapPad tablet for my younger kids, this one is great for older kids! It also comes with a free one year subscription to Amazon Kids+ (subscription is easy to cancel or $6/month after the first year).
